How can I log in to the Bold app on a new phone?
Choose the same login method you used when creating your Bold account—Apple, Google or email and password—for a smooth experience on your new device.
First things first: how did you register?
The Bold app offers three different login methods:

Log in with Apple

Log in with Google
-
Log in with Password (email + password + phone number)
It’s crucial to log in using the same method you used when registering your Bold account. Each login option creates a separate profile—using a different one may result in a blank account or access issues.
Not sure which login method you used?
Since 2025, Bold has been sending a ‘Welcome to Bold’ email when you first register. The subject of the email is ‘Account information’. This email contains your login method and support ID. Search your inbox for “Welcome to Bold” to find it quickly.
Step 1: Download the Bold app
Install the Bold app on your new smartphone:
Once installed, select your original registration method from the login screen. Here is how each method works:
Option: Log in with Apple

Select ‘Log in with Apple’.

Use your Apple ID credentials (Face ID or fingerprint depending on your device).

You will be securely logged in to your existing Bold account.
Once logged in, your previous device will be automatically logged out.
Option: Log in with Google

Select ‘Log in with Google’.

Choose the Google account you used during registration.

Follow the prompts to complete login.
After logging in, your previous device will be logged out for security.
Option: Log in with Password
Use this option if you originally signed up with your email address and password.

Select ‘Log in with Password’.

Enter the email address linked to your Bold account.

You will receive a verification code via email.

Enter the code and then your password to complete the login.
What if your phone number changed?
If you login with the method 'log in with password' and your phone number has changed, you can still log in using your email address (as outlined above). After logging in, you can update your phone number.
Step 2: Update your contact details (if needed)
Once you are successfully logged in:

Tap the gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the Bold app.

Select ‘My Account’.

Here, you can update your phone number, email address or other details.
Now your Bold account is ready to go on your new phone—exactly how you left it.
