A jammed door won’t be a problem for the Bold Smart Cylinder, as you can open the door by hand. Usually, a jammed door is mostly a challenge for motorized smart locks, since opening the door requires extra power from the motors.
If you use the Bold Smart Cylinder, you can apply as much force as with a traditional cylinder with a key. Often, you can even apply more force than you could have with a traditional cylinder.
Please note: A jammed door and a stiff door lock are common problems among users. A Bold Smart Cylinder will not fix these problems. In these cases, we always recommend that you call in an expert.
