The Bold Connect automatically detects all Bold Smart Locks in its vicinity. This doesn’t require any action from you.
All locks that belong to the owner of the Bold Connect will be available for remote activation. You can connect the Bold Connect to a maximum of 25 locks.
If the Bold App can’t find a Bold Smart Lock, it’s probably because the signal of the Bold Connect is not received. This might be the case because the distance between the Bold products is too big or the signal is weak (as there’s a lot of metal or concrete between the Bold Connect and the Bold Smart Lock). You might be able to solve the problem by slightly moving the Bold Connect.
In the Bold App, you can check the signal strength of all Bold Smart Locks detected by the Bold Connect. In large locations, it may be necessary to install several Bold Connects.
