How to install the Bold App?
Make sure to install the Bold app and connect the Bold Smart Lock to your smartphone before placing the lock in the door. This ensures you have full control over the lock and door mechanism, even if you accidentally shut the door.
Downloading the Bold app
The Bold app is free and available in both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
Creating an account
- Open the Bold App
- Choose your sign-in method: Apple, Google, Microsoft or Password.
- For Apple, Google or Microsoft sign-in, simply follow the on-screen instructions to log in using your Google account, Apple ID or Microsoft account.
- For Password sign-in:
- Enter your email address and press continue.
- Enter the verification code sent to your email address and press continue.
- Enter your phone number and press continue.
- Enter the verification code sent to your phone via SMS and press continue.
- Enter your first and last name and press continue.
- Enter your password twice and confirm it by pressing register.
- For Apple, Google or Microsoft sign-in, simply follow the on-screen instructions to log in using your Google account, Apple ID or Microsoft account.
The Bold app is installed and ready to use.
You can now proceed with installing your new lock, or if you've been invited to use a lock, you can now accept the invitation.
