How do you replace the battery of the Bold Clicker?

A quick guide to safely replacing the CR2025 battery with a flat screwdriver and closing it securely afterwards.

What do you need?

  • Bold Clicker

  • Flat screwdriver

  • New CR2025 coin cell battery

Important before you start

Always open the back of the Clicker (not the front). You can recognise the back by the small Bold logo.

Step-by-step

  1. Place the Clicker on the table with the back facing up (side with the small Bold logo).

  2. Carefully insert the flat screwdriver into the seam of the back cover (start at a corner for extra grip).

  3. Gently pry the back cover loose (work around the edge for even pressure).

  4. You will see the battery with the plus side facing up.

  5. Remove the old CR2025 battery (only use the screwdriver if your nail does not work).

  6. Insert the new CR2025 battery with the plus side facing up (pay attention to correct polarity).

  7. Place the back cover onto the Clicker and press firmly all around until you feel a click everywhere (check the seam for a neat closure).

Testing

Press the Clicker button to check whether the LED responds or the Clicker controls your Bold product.

Tips and care

  • Be careful when opening or closing (prevent damage to the housing).

  • If the Clicker still does not work after replacement, check that the CR2025 is truly new and makes good contact.
