What is Bold Pro?

Bold Pro combines a secure smart lock with professional access management for businesses that want simple, scalable control over who can enter, where, and when.

Bold Pro is a complete solution for professional access management. It combines a secure Bold smart lock with powerful tools for setting permissions and managing users. You enter without keys using your phone. You walk up to the door, turn the knob, and step inside. Access is granted or removed digitally, so there is no need to copy or chase keys.

Bold Pro is built on an SKG*** certified cylinder, which is the highest security grade. The lock is stainless steel on the outside and all electronics are safely placed on the inside of the door. It is quiet in daily use due to a non-motorised design. Installation is quick, usually in around five minutes with only a screwdriver. Battery life is up to eight years with the Battery saver mode.

How Bold Pro works

You manage access digitally so people only enter when they should. With the web portal, you can create rules per role, per team, or per location. Set time windows that match real schedules. Update permissions in seconds when something changes. This keeps access aligned with daily operations while removing the hassle of physical keys.

Managing from your desktop

The web portal gives a clear overview of all doors, users, and activity in one place. It is designed for larger teams or multiple locations. You can:

  • Group devices and users by location or role (for example, front entrance, storage, office areas, or staff, management, external partners).

  • Apply access rules to groups rather than to individual doors or people, which saves time and reduces mistakes.

  • Use onboarding materials like videos, information leaflets, and door stickers to help staff and visitors understand how Bold Pro works.

  • Connect via API to existing systems. For example, sync access with your HR system based on roles and shift schedules. You can also trigger third party door systems where needed.

Pricing

Hardware: Bold Pro lock at €239 excluding VAT.

Subscription: One subscription covers all your locks. The cost per lock becomes lower as you add more locks. First time customers receive the first two months free. There is no Business Onboarding Fee. You can cancel any time.

  • 0 to 5 locks, €19,00 per month

  • 6 to 10 locks, €4,00 per lock per month

  • 11 to 20 locks, €3,50 per lock per month

  • 20 to 30 locks, €3,00 per lock per month

  • More than 30 locks, €2,50 per lock per month

If you cancel the subscription, your locks continue to open locally, however portal features like user management, scheduling, and insights are no longer available.

Upgrading and getting started

Already using Bold smart locks in your business, such as Bold Classic or Bold Elite. You can move to Bold Pro without replacing hardware. Your locks keep working as you expect, while professional access management becomes available through the subscription. New Bold Pro locks work seamlessly alongside upgraded locks, so the experience stays consistent.
