# Comment supprimer définitivement votre compte Bold ?
## Parfois, il est temps de passer à autre chose. Si vous avez décidé de ne plus utiliser Bold, voici comment supprimer définitivement votre compte (et ce qu’il faut faire avant).
Avant de commencer, assurez-vous de transférer votre Bold Smart Lock à un nouveau propriétaire ou de le retirer de votre compte. Vous trouverez les étapes à suivre ([dans ce guide](https://knowledgebase.boldsmartlock.com/en/knowledge/how-to-remove-the-lock-or-transfer-ownership?hsLang=fr)). Une fois votre compte supprimé, les invitations en attente envoyées par d’autres utilisateurs Bold ne seront plus accessibles.
### Étapes pour supprimer votre compte Bold
1. **Ouvrez l’application Bold et allez dans les Paramètres**
(L’icône Bold est située dans le coin inférieur droit de l’écran.)
2. **Appuyez sur « Mon compte »**
(C’est ici que vous gérez les paramètres liés à votre compte personnel.)
3. **Sélectionnez « Supprimer le compte »**
(L’application vous avertira que cette action est irréversible.)
4. **Confirmez votre décision**
(Un message s’affichera : « Êtes-vous sûr de vouloir continuer ? » Appuyez sur « Oui, continuer ». )
**Important** : Votre compte sera définitivement supprimé après 7 jours d’inactivité. Si vous changez d’avis, il vous suffit de vous reconnecter dans ce délai pour annuler la suppression.
