# Comment mettre à jour le firmware ?
## Les mises à jour du firmware ajoutent de nouvelles fonctionnalités et optimisations à votre Bold Smart Lock. Installez-les facilement depuis votre téléphone.
### Pourquoi les mises à jour du firmware sont importantes
Le Bold Smart Lock reçoit régulièrement des mises à jour de firmware pour intégrer de nouvelles fonctions et améliorer les performances. Cela garantit un fonctionnement optimal et sécurisé de votre serrure.
### Quand une mise à jour est disponible
Vous recevez une notification lorsqu'une mise à jour est prête. Elle s'affiche :
- Sur l’écran d’accueil de l'application Bold
- Dans l'écran « Mes appareils »
### Comment installer la mise à jour du firmware
Vous pouvez installer la mise à jour de deux façons :
- En cliquant directement sur la notification
- Ou manuellement, via les paramètres de la serrure :
1. Ouvrez l'application Bold
2. Allez dans les **paramètres** de votre serrure
3. Appuyez sur **Informations de l'appareil**
4. Sélectionnez **Firmware**
5. Suivez les instructions à l’écran
**Important :** Restez proche de votre produit Bold pendant la mise à jour et gardez l’écran de votre téléphone actif.
### Pendant la mise à jour
- La plupart des mises à jour durent environ **une minute**
- Certaines comprennent plusieurs composants, il est donc normal que la barre de progression redémarre à 0 %
### Si la mise à jour échoue
Si la mise à jour ne s'est pas entièrement terminée :
- **Ne supprimez jamais** le produit de votre compte
- Fermez complètement l’application Bold
- Rouvrez-la et **relancez la mise à jour**
### Un mot sur la lumière bleue clignotante...
Si la LED bleue clignote, vous avez maintenu le bouton environ 30 secondes. Cela redémarre la serrure (comme un redémarrage de téléphone). Aucun paramètre ni utilisateur n’est supprimé. Vous verrez aussi ce clignotement lors d’une mise à jour du firmware.
### Dernier conseil
Restez à jour et profitez de toutes les nouveautés grâce aux dernières versions du firmware. Une minute suffit pour une sécurité renforcée.
