# Smart Home integrations for Bold: Google Home
## Do you love using Google Home? You can now integrate it with your Bold Smart Lock through the Bold App!
### Connect Bold to Google Home
Once you pair your Bold Smart Lock, you can access the Google Home integration from the *Integrations* tab in the Bold app. Before that, you need to set it up in the Google Home app.
#### Follow these steps to set up the integration:
1. Open the **Google Home** app.
2. Tap **Devices**.
3. Press **+ Add**.
4. Select **Works with Google**.
5. Search for and select **Bold**.
> **Important:** This integration requires a **Bold Connect**, which brings your lock online by connecting it to the internet.
### Automate your home
This integration gives you the power to create smart flows. Sync your Bold Smart Lock with lights, music, or any other compatible device in your home.
- Want your lock to activate, lights to switch on, and music to play the moment you walk in? Done.
- Need everything to shut down when you leave? Also done.
With Bold and Google Home, your routines run themselves—so you can focus on what matters most.
### Add a pin code for secure access
To protect your lock from unauthorised voice commands, you need to set a pin code. Google Home will ask for it when you unlock your door using voice control.
#### Here is how to manage your pin code:
1. Open the **Bold app**.
2. Go to the **Integrations** tab.
3. Select the **Google Home integration**.
You can view, update, or disable your pin code from here. Choose a code that is easy to remember, but hard to guess.
