# How to change your profile settings?
## To personalise and secure your Bold App experience, it is important to adjust your profile settings from time to time. This guide will help you navigate the process effortlessly.
**Step 1: Log in to the Bold App**
Make sure you are logged into your Bold account.
Note: You can only be logged into one device at a time in the Bold App for security reasons. If you log in on another device, you will automatically be logged out on the previous one.
Sharing your account? We recommend each user creates their own account to avoid connection interruptions.
**Step 2: Access Account Settings**
Navigate to the account settings by selecting the gear icon at the bottom right of your screen. Then, choose 'My Account' at the top left.
**Step 3: Update Your Profile Information**
Here’s what you can adjust:
- **Support ID**: This is your unique account ID. It cannot be edited.
- **Name**: Change your name to reflect any updates or personal preferences.
- **Phone Number**: Ensure your contact number is up to date for important notifications. (not visible/registered in the Bold app when the account is created with Apple ID or Google Sign-in)
- **Email**: Keep your email address accurate for account communications.
- **Password**: To change your password, input your current password followed by the new password twice for security. (not visible/registered in the Bold app when the account is created with Apple ID or Google Sign-in)
- **Language**: Choose your preferred language for app notifications and interactions.
- **Manage Sign-in Methods:** You can also add Apple ID or Google Sign-in as alternative sign-in methods for easier access.
- **Active Sessions:** View and manage your current login sessions. You can log out of any session to enhance your account’s security.
- **Delete Account:** If you wish to delete your Bold account permanently, select this option. Please note: this action is irreversible.
- **Sign Out:** Sign out from your account safely when you are finished adjusting your settings to keep your profile secure.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your personal details and preferences in the Bold App are always up to date and secure.
