    Device history:
This log shows all activation activity, whether it was auto entry, app button press, or a Bold Clicker. It includes dates, times, and activation types so you’re always in the know.

    Manage:
Need to pass your lock on to someone else? You can transfer ownership to another user or business account, or uninstall the device if needed.

    Customisable features:

    • Slot detection (Elite)
See directly on the lock whether your door is open (unlocked) or closed (locked).
    • Inside button: Turn this on to activate the lock by pressing the button inside. Ideal for locking up quickly as you leave.
    • Activation sound: Prefer a quiet exit? You can switch the beep on or off.
    • Active time: Decide how long the lock stays active after unlocking—anywhere between 5 to 120 seconds.

    Advanced features are:

    Auto-activation:

    • Auto Activation:
Let your Bold Smart Lock unlock automatically when you're nearby. It’s effortless.

    • Notifications: You’ll get a notification when you’re within 200 metres of your lock, so you can activate it as you approach.
    • Backup PIN: Turn on this option to use a 5-digit PIN for unlocking. You can create and manage up to three PINs. Great as a backup if your phone isn’t handy.

    Notifications:

    • Activity notifications
Stay up to date with real-time alerts for actions triggered by the inside button or a backup PIN. (Note: A Bold Connect is needed for this to work.)

One more thing about the flashing blue light…

If the light on your Bold Smart Lock flashes blue, it means you've held the button for around 20 seconds. This triggers a reboot—think of it like switching your phone off and back on. It doesn’t delete any settings or users. You’ll also see this blue flashing light during a firmware update.

By tuning these settings, you’ll make sure your Bold Smart Lock works just the way you want it to.
